that doesnt help me in any way of presenting my opinion, but i think its a pretty nice quote any way. =)
So anyway...
Lets say a girl that you don't want to have any close relations with (nothing further than friends) comes along and asks you to stead with her.
Obviously your reply is "no".
you make yourself as humbled as possible and say it in the most gentle manner you can imagine possible so as to not hurt her feelings.
but then she asks "why?"
then you tell her the truth.
or some warped up version of it.
or you tell a lie.
lets say you said "i'd rather if we remained friends"
and she replies "but why, (insert name of choice here) ?"
and of course you try to explain yourself.
maybe..
"i just feel that i'm not ready to move on blah blah blah"
and she tells you something like "but i want us to move on!"
of course at this point you would start to feel incredibly uneasy.
theres no turning back already, you already find yourself in the lion's mouth.
most of us can predict what happens next, so it is needless for me to continue.
or maybe you said...
"i want my girlfriend to be (insert character traits of choice here)"
and she says
"but arent i (insert character traits as above) already ?"
i think you will be blady pekchek right.
u already say NO liao, and this person that u perhaps called your friend is trying to piss you off and be a thorn in a bush.
So please lah, just listen for heaven's sake.
