Simply reading the newspaper never fails to remind me of how blessed i am here in Singapore.
And how blessed i am already.
Newspaper currently tells you mainly about the war in Gaza, how many people are dying etc etc. including innocent citizens.
Reminds me of how blessed I am to be in Singapore where its peaceful.
Malaysia doesn't fire rockets at us every now and then.

Look a little lower and u would see "Bangkok fire kills two S'poreans".
Quite literally every where u look there's death.
It's not fair. It's not fair that we complain about having to wake up in the morning and take the bus to school.
When there are children who have no education and have to walk a few kilometres for basic provisions.
It's not fair that we complain that we're bored.
When there are people who live in fear every day of being killed at any moment.
It's not fair that we get to eat Macdonalds, Burger King or whatever.
When people in Africa are experiencing deaths through famine or are going hungry every day with no food to eat.
It's not fair that we are so privileged to attend church every week and praise God.
While children halfway across the world have not even come to know Jesus and have no one to put their hopes on and simply have no future.
It's not fair that there are people who are any less blessed than us just because of the family they are born into or the nation they are born in.
It's not fair
